The Philippines continues to reap the benefits of its 2012 AFC Challenge Cup campaign.
The Philippines remained as the 156th ranked nation in the FIFA/Coca-Cola rankings that was released yesterday on FIFA.com, as 91 international matches were incorporated into the rankings computations.
The FIFA / Coca-Cola World Rankings were just released earlier today. Given that there were not much international friendlies that took place during the previous time frame, it is not surprising that there will be minimal movement. Spain retains the top spot, and so did the rest of the top ten. Chile moved up a spot to 12th, buoyed by a 3-2 win against Paraguay.
The FIFA / Coca-Cola Rankings were just released today (September 21), and the Philippines has dropped three slots to 165th.
